Konrad

Hi my name is Konrad, I am a 8 year old male Rottweiler. I was adopted out of high-kill in South Carolina but the person never showed up, my current foster family offered to take me off the transport so I didn't have to go back to a certain death. I have been with them since August and been completely looked over by their local vet. I do have arthritis and a benign fatty tumor but I can still play like a 6 month old puppy!

I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines (bordatella, rabies, and distemper), I am heartworm negative, and have been micro-chipped! I get along with all people and love kids! I have also been great with every dog I have met! I can't go to a home with cats, I have an extremely high prey drive with small animals and have killed a cat in the past. My current foster family has two cats and the sooner I am placed in a new home the better it will be for both of them and myself. I haven't had any chewing issues and I am kennel trained. They think I may have been a strictly outdoor dog before because I was marking indoors when they first got me but it has been well over a month since my last accident.

I know basic commands and would do better with a fenced in yard as I chase squirrels also. Hello! I am such a sweet girl and am one of the favorites here at the MSPCA because I am so calm, nice and loving.

I was brought to the MSPCA because my owners were moving and could not find a pet-friendly apartment. I am so very sad that they had to give me up, but I am excited to find a new family to spend the rest of my life with.

I am the ultimate couch potato and would make a wonderful movie-watching, popcorn eating friend for anyone that doesn't mind sharing the couch (and the popcorn!). I do enjoy walking and being outside too. However, I am an older girl who certainly can't walk as long as I used to (this never gets in the way of my spirits, though!).

You should come meet me! I am worth it!

Tanya

Tanya was surrendered by her owner when they could no longer live in his rented warehouse any longer. She has quickly adapted to living in a home. She is now housetrained. Having never been crated, she has done well with being crated when alone and overnight. Tanya would benefit from an owner who could work on her training, but she does understand basic commands. She does not walk well on a leash yet but her foster family is working with her.

Tanya enjoys playing fetch and having her belly rubbed. She greets everyone she meets by sitting on their feet and looking up at you with a happy tongue hanging out to the side. She is so inquisitive and eager to please.

Saddie
