"Sienna's
Fund" was created on behalf of a female Rottweiler
named, Sienna RRUFF #11. Sienna came to RRUFF when her owners
realized they didn't have the time to dedicate to her needs
for exercise and training.
In late summer of 2006, she was
diagnosed with cancer. In early November of 2006, Sienna
lost her battle with cancer at the young age of three.
This fund will be reserved for dogs placed into the RRUFF
program that are afflicted with a physical disability or
illness which will not compromise their quality of life
following treatment.
Shelter dogs that need medical care are often overlooked
daily because the cost of medical care places a tremendous
burden on rescue groups.
It is for "Sienna" and many more like her that
RRUFF created this fund.
